Zoe Ball returned to her BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show this morning following a medical dentist appointment after her broken teeth "pinged across the room". Kicking off her hosting duties, Zoe, 53, began by thanking her co-star Gaby Roslin for stepping in at the last minute on Wednesday and went on to confirm that her teeth had now been "glued back together". Explaining what had happened, the presenter went on to say that while on FaceTime to her brother Nick, she was flossing two previously broken teeth when, all of a sudden, they fell out.
"I didn't realise he was FaceTiming me to start with," she shared. "I picked my phone up, I was naked as I was about to get into the shower, and it's not what your brother wants to see is it? "Anyway, I put my dressing gown on and I start flossing my teeth." Zoe went on to explain that she had initially knocked her two front teeth out as a youngster, so, therefore, they were slightly more sensitive.
She continued to say: "I'm talking to Nick and I've got the floss and it caught the back of my tooth and it pinged across the room." Zoe said that as she wasn't wearing her glasses at the time, she struggled to find the tooth and believed she had swallowed the other one. When she did eventually see herself properly in the mirror, the presenter realised she had a "huge gap" and swiftly rang her dentist.
