Stree 2 Trailer Launch: Shraddha Kapoor plays coy about marriage plans with Rahul Mody: “Jab dulhan banna hai...”

Shraddha Kapoor has doubled the dose of entertainment this year! Not only is she gearing up for the release of Stree 2, the much-anticipated sequel to her 2018 horror-comedy hit, but she's also keeping fans guessing about her relationship status with rumoured beau, screenwriter Rahul Mody.The actress unveiled the trailer for Stree 2 at a launch event in Mumbai on July 18, 2024. Looking resplendent in a red and gold saree with her hair styled in a braid, Shraddha addressed the media's curiosity about her personal life with a witty response. When asked about her relationship with Mody, and their potential marriage plans, she cleverly said, “Woh Stree hai, usse jab dulhan banna hai woh banegi (She is Stree; she will become a bride whenever she feels like).”This playful response comes just a month after Shraddha seemingly confirmed her relationship with Rahul on Instagram. In June, she shared a goofy selfie with him, both dressed in white, with Shraddha's arm playfully wrapped around him. The caption read, “Dil rakh le, neend toh vaapis de de yaar @modyrahulmody (Keep my heart but give me back my sleep),” accompanied by laughter and red heart emojis. Interestingly, the post also featured the song ‘Neend Churayee Meri’ from the movie Ishq.The trailer for Stree 2 promises a thrilling on-screen experience. The two-minute, 54-second clip hints at a new terror gripping the town of Chanderi. While Stree ended on a cliffhanger, audiences had to wait for a good five years. However, the makers are finally back with another banger of a trailer that ties all the loose ends.
