FARGO — The heart of Fargo will be packed this week with more than 150,000 people walking up and down Broadway for the annual Downtown Fargo Street Fair. The mid-July event is one of the largest in the area and brings in people from the region to shop, eat and just check out the scene in downtown. Thursday - Saturday The fun runs from 10 a.

m. to 9 p.m.



Thursday, July 18, and Friday, July 19, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.

m. Saturday, July 20. Dozens of crafters and merchants will line Broadway with booths showing off art, clothes, home goods and more.

Meanwhile food trucks and mobile kitchens will set up in the food court to serve up a mix of fair food staples and some other ethnic options. The Broadway Square Stage will feature a full lineup of musical acts like King Sage, Walking Phoenix, Anna Alynn, Rusty Crayfish Brass Band and DJ Pretty Ricky. Crowds can also get a preview of musical theater shows in the area, “Cats,” “The Little Mermaid” and “9 to 5.

Thursday On Thursday night, July 18, Pierce the Veil will play the new UP District Festival Field in north Fargo. On Sunday night the trio will play the home of the New York Mets, Citi Field, opening for Blink 182. That’s quite the jump, playing to around 2,000 then playing before more than 20,000 fans.
