PODCAST star Charleen Murphy has had to come to terms with comparing herself to others - and declared we have "to try and learn to be happy". The influencer, who has more than 225,000 followers on Instagram , has a hit podcast, Hold My Drink, with best friend Ellie Kelly. And she revealed how she fell into a trap of comparing herself constantly to those around her - both in real life and online.

Charleen said: “I feel like I used to be worse for it, I’ve probably gone a bit better for it now. “There’s only one of each person in the world, there's not someone exactly like you. “As much as you’re comparing yourself to someone else, there's probably someone comparing themselves to you.

“We're never ever going to be happy, I'm sure. There’s always going to be people in the world who are more successful. “You just have to learn to try and be happy.

” Ellie said: “You need to come to a place in your life of realising [that] there's always going to be someone better than you. “There's always going to be someone prettier than you. But that doesn't take away from who you are as a person either.

” Instagram star Charleen saw the dark side of social media when she was attacked in a Dublin hotel after sharing a snap during a night out. Craig O’Brien, 28, was sentenced to 18 months in prison after hitting her on the head from behind in an unprovoked attack. She told the Irish Sun how it’s crucial to report any online abuse or bullying immediately.

Moving on fro.
