Kevin Costner and his future in the final episodes of Yellowstone has been in the air. The Hollywood actor has now issued a happy update, telling fans he will return to play patriarch John Dutton on the number one series. Kevin has maintained he told creator Taylor Sheridan he would help end the series, but he still hasn't received any scripts.

However, despite the problems, Kevin says he wants to help end Yellowstone for the sake of the valuable "audience". This comes just hours after Paramount announced that Yellowstone had already started filming in Montana.
The series is slated to return in November 2024. As of the current moment, it is not known whether John Dutton aka Kevin Costner will return. Kevin then admitted he's stayed quiet due to the rumors and never thought working on Yellowstone and Horizon at the same time would be a problem.
