A WOMAN has hit the jackpot after a stranger used her bin to throw rubbish away. Anastasia Keeley took to X, formerly known as Twitter , to share her good fortune. The young woman revealed that she was taking rubbish to her outside bin when she made the discovery.

"I just took the trash out and found this in my dumpster," she captioned the post. The item in question? A stunning burnt orange cast-iron Le Creuset casserole pot. The item is worth £300 to buy brand new so of course Anastasia took it back inside.

She later shared an update video of its murky inside, which she decided to try and repair. The young woman cleaned it with a scouring pad and restored it to an almost brand new appearance. The iconic Cast Iron Round Casserole might seem like a hefty price tag for a pot at £300, however it’s been designed to last a lifetime so you should only ever need to buy it once.

The cast iron material means it's sturdy and top quality, and will take on flavours over the years, enhancing your cooking more and more each time you use it. You can use it on your stove or in the oven to make cooking larger meals even easier. Clearly Anastasia was thrilled by her find and couldn't believe her luck.

The post on her account anastasiakeeley has since gone viral and many people took to the comments congratulating her on her find. One person wrote: "Who on Earth would throw that out?!" Another commented: "And they say there are no 'free chickens' running around in the street! Congrats, that .
