Adam Wingard, who directed both “Godzilla vs. Kong” and “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire,” is not returning for a third installment says multiple sources for . The exit of the “You’re Next” helmer is said to be amicable and all to do with scheduling issues.

That will keep him busy for a while.
