Cardiff Castle has welcomed many great performers so far in summer 2024 and there are still some gigs left to go at the iconic Welsh landmark. This includes Two Tone legends Madness who are performing at the castle on Thursday, July 18. Known for their hits like House of Fun, It Must Be Love and Our House the eccentric band are formed of Chris Foreman on guitar, Mike Barson on keyboards, piano, percussion, backing vocals, Lee Thompson on saxophone, percussion, vocals, Graham "Suggs" McPherson as the vocals, Dan Woodgate on drums and percussion and Mark Bedford on bass.

In 2023 Madness released their latest album Theatre of the Absurd Presents C'est la Vie and it was the bands first ever number one studio album. Last entry for the show is 8.30pm. The Hoosiers will perform from 7.

45pm to 8.30pm and Madness will take to the stage at 9pm, performing until 10.30pm.

The box office will be open from 3pm on the day of the event and is located at the north gate entrance. This is accessible near the Castle Mews of North Road and inside Bute Park. There is strictly no re-admission an.
