The (KCA) is set to make history. For the first time in KCA history, the award show will be hosted by (voiced by Tom Kenny) and Patrick Star (voiced by Bill Fagerbakke). This marks the first time that the show has been hosted by virtual characters.

, the television network, is set to air the KCA's on Saturday, July 13 from Los Angeles, California – celebrating SpongeBob SquarePants' 25th anniversary. The kid show premiered on July 17, 1999. Many surprises are set to come in celebration of the animated kids' show milestone.



Fans of the show will be teleported to Bikini Bottom as the stage is designed to look like it. This will also be the first time the award show changes the color of its iconic slime from green to rainbow and it's set to come out of a birthday cake in honor of Spongebob. The show had gold slime back in 2016.

Julio Himede is this year's production designer. Tom has been the voice of Spongebob since the premiere and told that the biggest highlight for him has been watching the show grow and seeing those who have watched it at such a young age, keep carrying it in their adult life. He continued: "That's only with a protracted timeline can you see ongoing affect of it so, 25 years later it's been amazing talking to those kids who were like six, seven, eight nine, 10 years old, 25 years ago, and how Spongebob is still a part of what they think is funny.

" Tom continued: "A part of their life, a part of their friendships, you know if they have kids or whatever, re.
