Pat Sajak has one big request when it comes to what he wants as he embraces retirement–the pitter patter of grandkids’ feet. The longtime Wheel of Fortune host’s f inal episode is set to air in just days, and fans have been left clamoring for info not only about him, but his co-star Vanna White’s plans when it comes to staying with the show, ever since they learned he was leaving. They have also expressed distaste for his replacement, Ryan Seacrest , though the show is moving forward with him at the helm.

In part of an interview with his daughter that is part of his final episodes, he told her he explicitly wanted grandkids in the near future. The reveal came in the interview segment that sees Maggie question her father about his 41 seasons of the show.
“I’m perfectly happy if it just means that I’ll continue with my crossword puzzles and play with grandchildren. Hint Hint Hint. No pressure,” he said.
