On the eve of Pat's final episode of Wheel of Fortune , fans took to a Reddit page dedicated to the show to share their ideas about how the 77-year-old can stay in power.

what if Pat went on celebrity wheel of fortune as a contestant after he retires," the thread began. "He should do that and pretend to forget that he had retired and try to take the host's position as a gag," a second person replied. Others expressed their sadness over Pat's exit.
"I am truly sad. It's the end of an era!" someone wrote. Fans have been open about their apprehension about Ryan , 49, trying to fill Pat's shoes.
In another Reddit thread, Wheel of Fortune fans discussed the changes ahead. Several appeared dissatisfied with Pat's replacement . "Seacrest is an interesting replacement choice.
