OVER the years Danny Dyer has cemented himself as a household name amongst Brits. The actor has enjoyed an incredible career and now is doing his bit for charity by taking part in Soccer Aid 2024 . Danny Dyer was born on July 24, 1977 in Canning Town, East London, and is an actor.

Some of his most memorable projects include The Football Factory, The Business, and Doghouse. Beginning his career at the age of 16, he was discovered by an agent who auditioned him for the part of Martin Fletcher in the Granada Television series Prime Suspect in 1993. After this other TV jobs poured in, including roles in Cadfael, A Touch of Frost, Loved Up, Thief Takers, and Soldier Soldier.



In October 2013 the BBC announced Danny would join the popular soap from Christmas 2013. He made his debut alongside actress Kellie Bright as Mick and Linda Carter. But after almost 10 years, he left the soap for good in 2022.

His character was killed off in the Christmas Day episode of the soap. Danny departed his role in dramatic scenes which showed him diving into the Channel to save his beloved ex-wife Linda, with him not re-emerging from the water. In February 2023, Danny revealed the REAL reason he quit the soap .
