ITV has announced medical thriller Malpractice will be back for a second series. Read on to find out more about the show, who's returning from the first series, and who's joining the cast. The first series of Malpractice had viewers on the edge of their seats when it debuted in 2023.

It saw Niamh Algar play the role of Dr Lucinda Edwards. She found herself in hot water when a patient in her care died. Viewers were gripped as the frontline medic faced an investigation following the death.
