One of the most memorable dramas of the late 1990s is Bad Girls, and there's good reason why. Broadcast on ITV from 1999 until 2006, the series focused on the lives of inmates and staff of the fictional women's prison, Larkhall. Set in a London prison, the show aimed to offer a realistic, modern portrayal of life of women put behind bars.

From Linda Henry to Claire King and Debra Stephenson - the show boasted a stellar cast. But one character people remember more often than not is the dangerous and devious Jim Fenner. Played by Jack (John) Stuart Ellis, Jim was a key character for seven series, having played both a prison officer and temporary prison governor.

Not to mention, he was also one of the drama's biggest villians, as he strove to make life as tough as possible for inmates. At one point, he was also locked up himself after being accused of dangerous driving, but he was released when his wife, Di Barker (Tracey Wilkinson), used false evidence to clear his name. He then returned to Larkhall as G-Wing Governor – and, not long before his death, was promoted to Acting Governing Governor.

Eventually, Jim was killed off in the seventh series, after he was murdered by inmate Julie Johnston (Kika Mirylees). But, since his iconic role ended, you may have wondered what happened to the acting star. Fans of the show are certainly curious – with many taking to social media to call for the show to return.

Some have been also been begging for the show to be put online so they ca.
