The has officially unveiled the return of one of the U.K.’s favorite duos: .

The pair are back and set for a brand new adventure, made by independent studio Aardman Animations, which will premiere on the BBC and BBC iPlayer this Christmas, as well as heading to worldwide this winter. The new film, titled , will be 70 minutes long and feature the return of the iconic supervillain Feathers McGraw, who is now back for revenge following his appearance in the Oscar-winning 1993 short . In , Gromit becomes increasingly concerned over Wallace’s dependence on his inventions.



Things take a turn for the worst when Wallace’s creation “smart gnome” seems to develop an evil mind of its own. “As events begin to spiral out of control, it’s up to Gromit to put aside his qualms and battle sinister forces, or Wallace may never be able to invent again.” New and returning cast members include Ben Whitehead, British comedian Peter Kay, Lauren Patel ( ), ‘s Reece Shearsmith, ( , with cameos from Diane Morgan ( ), Adjoa Andoh ( ), and Sir Lenny Henry ( ).
