Victoria Beckham 'couldn't stand' her former bandmate, Geri Horner, according to Tom Bower. The investigative journalist's new book, The House of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power, which has been serialised by the Mirror before its release on June 20, takes a deep dive into the relationship of one of the most influential couples in the world , including what Victoria was like behind closed doors. The mum-of-four, 50, has known Geri, 51, since the nineties when they shot to fame as Posh and Ginger Spice in the best-selling girl band.
However, in recent years there's been rumours of a rift between the pair, highlighted when Geri unfollowed Victoria and David earlier this year amid her husband, Christian's work conduct allegations at Red Bull. Speaking about their relationship during the Spice Girls' fame, Bower claims everyone loved [David] Beckham, but "Victoria was different" adding: "Increasingly, she was outspoken and provoked retaliation." He continues: "'I can’t stand Geri,’ she said about her former best friend.
‘She is one of the most disloyal people I’ve ever known.’" The book also claims the fashion designer mocked Geri for dating DJ Chris Evans, who she was in a relationship with in 1999. Bower claims: "Twisting the knife, she even scoffed at Geri for going out with DJ Chris Evans.
‘She’ll do anything to get publicity. Geri doesn’t care what she does as long as she gets in the paper.’" It wouldn't be the first time the Spice Girls have been accused of f.
