The 29-year-old actress recently confirmed her grandmother ‘Naunni’ had tragically passed away. Just a few weeks later, Nicola took to social media again to announce that her beloved dog Nala had died.
"If life couldn't get any worse, my angel Nala passed away tonight out of nowhere,” she wrote, before thanking the vet who “stood by her side”. Nicola has since taken to Instagram to share that she is “investigating the situation” after Nala died suddenly following a session with a groomer. Her mother-in-law Victoria shared Nicola’s post and added a supportive message below the statement. “Thinking about you at this difficult time, we love you,” she wrote. The actress’ post has been shared by a number of other family members and friends, which she in turn added to her Instagram Stories.
