The broadcaster has announced that its two gameshows have been cut from the schedules on both Monday and Tuesday. Tipping Point and The Chase will be replaced by Belgium's game against Slovakia at 5pm on Monday.

On Tuesday, Tipping Point and The Chase won't be airing to make room for ITV Racing's coverage of Royal Ascot at 1:30pm. The fan-favourite shows aren't the only casualties to come out of the schedule changes on ITV1 - soap fans are also losing out thanks to the football. Emmerdale and Coronation Street have been cut from Monday's schedule.

Instead, the Euros match between Austria and France will be airing in its place. Emmerdale will return on Tuesday at 7pm with two back-to-back episodes. Meanwhile, Coronation Street will be able to tune in directly afterwards at 8pm to catch all the latest drama from the cobbles.

This isn't the first time that the football has thrown the schedules into chaos, with Friday's soaps being taken off the air for the Euros last week. Fans were left furious with ITV bosses as they called for the episodes to be shown on another channel. "Put Corrie and Emmerdale on ITV2 then,no biggie is it?" one soap fan wrote on social medi.
