Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford have reportedly split after 14 years together. The pair have decided to split and are set to divorce. A spokesperson for the couple told The Sun on Sunday: "Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.

" According to reports, the pair's busy careers have "taken them in different directions". Despite this, the couple are making sure to "keep things amicable". Langsford and Holmes married back in 2010.

Ruth has recently been looking after her spouse following medical issues, which led him to a hospital stint. She kept fans updated with a statement: "I look at Eamonn who's had his health and back problems and it makes you realise how important your health is. I don't know how much Eamonn's mobility will improve.

We live in hope. He does the physio but there might have to be some acceptance that this might never be 100 percent right." It has been said that the pair first met in 1997 after meeting through mutual friends.

The duo for over 10 years before Holmes decided to propose. Ruth gave birth to the couple's son Jack back in 2002 and later married at Elvetham Hall in Hampshire back in 2010. Ruth and Eamonn are perhaps best known for presenting together.
