Honor of Kings announced today that next week, top esports clubs from Saudi Arabia will battle it out in the Saudi Qualifer for the Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason Esports World Cup. The tournament will take place from June 9-11, 2024. The winning club will progress through to play the world cup and a chance to take a piece of the $3 million prize pool.

"It's exciting to see such a talented roster of esports clubs from Saudi Arabia in this qualifier for the Honors of Kings Invitational Midseason I Esports World Cup," said Joe Zoghbi, Senior Game Operations Manager, Level Infinite MENA, Tencent Games Global, in a press statement. "We are proud to showcase the esports and gaming talent the Kingdom nurtures through this tournament and affirm our commitment to the growth of the gaming community in the Kingdom." The qualifers will be streamed live on the official Honor of Kinghs Arabia channel and within the game itself, commencing from 7pm KSA from June 9-11.



Viewers will get to catch their favorite Saudi esports clubs during the event, including Team Falcon, Twisted Minds, R8 Esports, and more. In addition to that, Honor of Kings announced an investment of $15m in January 2024, which arims to drive a comprehensive international esports ecosystem featuring tailored local and global tournaments to showcase top-notch skills. Honor of Kings is one opf the most popular mobile MOBA game, with over 200 million registered users and more than 100 million daily players.
