This Morning paid tribute to Michael Mosley as the show opened on Monday morning. Dr Michael Mosley - who regularly appeared on the show - sadly died whilst on holiday in one of the Greek islands, Symi. His body was found just a few yards away from the beach and the resort of Agia Marina.
It is not known what happened to Michael but a preliminary post-mortem has ruled out foul play. It is believed he could have collapsed in the extreme heat or he could have fallen on the rocky terrain. Ben said: "Clearly from all our viewers and their messages as well, he will be sorely missed. We've very fond of the memories we share [with him]," before they headed over to speak to Gyles Brandreth. Sharing his memories of Michael, he said: "He had an impact on millions of people.
Even when I broke my arm a couple of years ago, he said to me, you've reached that age when you're starting to fall over. He told me when I brush my teeth, stand on one leg, and I do it every morning and every night. He was a remarkable person and had a great sense of humour too.
" His wife Claire Bailey paid a heartbreaking tribute to Michael, who had regularly appeared on the sh.
