THIS Morning star Vanessa Feltz's daughter was rushed to hospital with an 'unknown number' of broken bones after an accident. The 62-year-old opened up about the scary ordeal to Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard on today's episode of the ITV show. The TV star explained that it happened on Friday evening when Allegra, 36 - who she shares with Michael Kurer - was on her way home from work.

She was wearing trainers and had her phone in her bag, but managed to trip over an uneven slab. Allegra was left lying in a " pool of her own blood” and they couldn't figure out where the blood was coming from. Vanessa told the hosts: "She went flying on an uneven slab of pavement.

"She hurtled through the air and we think that she hit her face as she fell on another sticking up, jagged, uneven slab of pavement.” An ambulance was called and she was rushed to hospital after being "extremely badly injured". Vanessa said that Allegra's elbow is broken in two places, a black eye and a deep cut under her chin.

Not only that, the Celebs Go Dating star explained that she could possibly have broken her shoulder and hand too. Vanessa said: “We don’t even know how many broken bones she’s got yet. “I just don’t want anyone else to take a fall, but also you don’t want to spend all your life looking down and picking your way along the pavement like it’s an obstacle course.

“You want to feel safe that you can walk along the pavement for God’s sake, don’t you?”.
