fans have been left horrified after the stars of the show appeared to neck down shots made of urine. The show returned to our screens on Thursday (June 20) with and at the helm once again. As the titles rolled, viewers were welcomed into the studio by Ben and Cat, who were joined by some of the co-stars of the programme.

As the hosts kicked off the show, it appeared that several glasses were placed in front of the team as the hosts revealed all. Ben, 49, and Cat, 47, explained how in the midst of their Euro 2024 campaign, the England team have been spotted drinking a rather strange concoction. "If you're wondering what Gareth Southgate is doing to keep the team fighting fit, the secret is apparently.

Ben then interrupted and exclaimed: "Pickle juice!" This idea came from images that had appeared to show England footballer Kieran Trippier being given a sachet of the salty drink to keep him going whilst he was cramping on the pitch during their last match against Serbia on Sunday (June 16). As a result, the This Morning cohort decided it would be good to test the drink out live on air. Before tucking into the delicious drink, resident doctor on the show Dr Semiya explained the benefits of indulging in pickle juice.

"It's got salt, vinegar - everyone's having vinegar these days - and it's supposed to hydrate, as it has a lot of electrolytes, minerals, so if you're sweating, it replenishes all of that." After a bit more chat with the team on the sofa, the stars then .
