A BRIDE has revealed the strict and controversial request she had for her wedding guests. Mariel Woolf took to social media to share her gorgeous English garden-themed wedding back in 2023, and the controversial way she got the best pictures form her big day. Admitting it was 'crazy' Mariel's shared pictures of herself and guests as she tied the knot.
She wrote: "Call me crazy but I had a strict and controversial dress code for our wedding guests...
" The bride revealed she saw the idea years ago and knew she had to do it for her own wedding. To go with her neutral countryside-theme she asked all of her guests to wear very specific colours on her big day. She revealed: "We asked all guests to wear cream, white, grey, beige or dusky pinks to have a super consistent and strong colour palette.
" Along with the wedding invites for guests, she sent out the exact colours she wanted guests to wear. It included an extensive description of the brides theme along with images of outfits and styles she liked. Mariel added that all of her wedding guests stuck to the strict rules set in place and that the colour scheme made her day even more special.
Despite most brides wanting to stick out, Mariel even had her bridesmaids dressed in champagne, silk floor-length gowns. But in the end, she loved how the whole look pulled together. The clip soon went viral on her TikTok account @ merielwoolf with over 195k views and 4,000 likes.
