NC500 residents have slammed tourists amid claims of an attack on locals that "could have killed someone". The locals were reported to have been riding their motorbikes past the Golden Eagle Zipline car parking area at Ceannabeinne, Durness. It's claimed a disgruntled male camper managed to strike one of the motorcyclist's helmets during the " attack " following a confrontation. Locals have claimed that the lads were targeted when passing by the occupants of a hire van after snapping photos of tents on the grassy area below on May 28.
