The-Dream , R&B singer and successful songwriter for artists like Beyoncé and Rihanna , has been accused of rape, sexual battery, and sex trafficking. The accuser—who was former protégé of The-Dream, whose real name is Terius Gesteelde-Diamant—filed a lawsuit in a California federal court this past Tuesday. As per the court documents, the 46-year-old musician is alleged to have ensnared the plaintiff in an "abusive, violent, and manipulative relationship filled with physical assaults, violent sexual encounters, and horrific psychological manipulation.
