Songwriter The-Dream, real name Terius Gesteelde-Diamant, was of rape, sexual battery, and sex trafficking. He had signed the alleged victim to his label Contra Paris, with a distribution deal set up with Sony-owned Epic Records. While they worked together, the accuser claimed that Dream would consistently put down one of the biggest names in music - Rihanna.

Dream has helped create some of the biggest hits in music like 's Single Ladies, Rihanna's Umbrella, and Justin Bieber's Baby. He's won eight over the course of his career. In the lawsuit obtained by , filed Tuesday in a California court, the victim claimed she was trapped in an "abusive, violent and manipulative relationship filled with physical assaults, violent sexual encounters, and horrific psychological manipulation.



" He also allegedly falsely promised to help the victim's career and brought up the A-List talent he's worked with in the past. "Dream frequently pitted Rihanna against Beyonce implying that Rihanna was fighting for his attention and was frustrated that he was giving it to Beyonce instead of her," the lawsuit stated. "He said that Rihanna was begging him for good records but because of his special 'sanctuary' relationship with Beyonce, he saved them for Beyonce and that [the victim] could be part of that as well.
