Actress Betty Anne Rees, passed away at the age of 81, according to her niece. Kathleen Loucks, the niece of the 1970s starlet, told that Betty Anne died in her home in Hemet, California on June 3. She said Betty Anne suffered "a series of falls and a possible stroke.

" The actress was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in the early 1990s. She started her career in Hollywood when she appeared on the television show Shane in 1966. Betty Anne is best known for her role as Mickey Martinez in the film The Unholy Rollers in 1972.



The film was an action-comedy film that focused on a roller derby team that didn't get along, who included stars like the 1970 Playboy Playmate of the Year, Claudia Jennings. The Shaker Heights, Ohio native also played Janet Ingram, Steve Douglas' secretary on the last season of My Three Sons. She also appeared in the film Sugar Hill (1974), a film about a woman (Marki Bey) who gets a voodoo priestess to bring back dead slaves to take revenge on a Southern mob boss (Robert Quarry) who killed her fiance.

Betty Anne's mom Margaret was a homemaker while her father James was an attorney that owned racehorses. The star attended Shaker Heights HIgh School before graduating in 1961. She then went to the University of Miami before moving to California and studying acting at the Pasadena Playhouse.

Betty Anne had a few appearances in soap operas like General Hospital and The Doctors. Other shows that Betty Anne appeared in include, S.W.
