The Repair Shop star Jay Blades is said to have been backed by the BBC as a new show gets the green light. Earlier this week Jay was spotted back at work on the Repair Shop's set following his split from wife Lisa Zbozen. He was seen without his wedding ring and appeared in high spirits.
It comes after Lisa revealed last month that they pair had parted ways following their November 2022 wedding. Just days before Lisa made the shock statement, Jay announced he would be taking a social media break after his uncle was "murdered a few weeks ago". His uncle Richard Brathwaite, 72, was reportedly stabbed to death in March.
Jay stepped back from filming commitments as his co-stars carried on without him until this week. It has now been reported the Repair Shop is getting a spin-off show titled The Repair Shop On The Road. The series is said to see the show's stars head across the country to revive broken treasures.
