As part of its latest update, The First Descendant developer Nexon Games addressed player concerns regarding its drop rates. Over the past few days, several complaints surfaced over its loot-farming design, with some accusing the devs of “rigging” item drops to force players to spend more time and money in-game. Fortunately, with community disapproval continuing to rise, The First Descendant director’s recent comments slightly eased tensions by providing players with the transparency they were looking for.



Towards the end of the latest batch of , the game director added a comment that said, “We are well aware that as many Descendants begin farming in earnest, various discussions are taking place regarding drop rates.” “There is no variable drop rate system in The First Descendant,” they continued. “We are using the fixed rates displayed in the game,” like the (or 1-in-5 chance) that players encounter when grinding.
