The TV show gives audiences an insight into the living rooms of families, friends and couples across the country, as they watch and react to what's been on the television. It was first launched in 2013 and has since went on to record 23 series, and a spin off series with Celebrities and Gogglesprongs (children) .

The show is filmed across 12 hours a week which can be split into two six hour shifts. It might sound like the ideal job, but stars can't just sit back and relax, they instead need to react to what they're watching and always be on the ball. While it has never been confirmed just how much each other Gogglebox star's earn, it is understood that they receive an allowance, which could be as much as £1,500 per household.

The pay packet is supposed to cover loss of earnings, as Gogglebox hours would likely disrupt their day-to-day jobs. So what are the rules the cast must follow? No alcohol allowed Ever noticed how much tea the Gogglebox cast members get through? Probably because they're not allowed to drink alochol while filming. You might like to enjoy a glass of wine, or a cheeky beer while watching your favourite TV shows or movies, but the Gogglebox cast can't.

This is wh.
