The Chase viewers suggested that they had noticed a pattern during a round on the show this week. The episode of the popular ITV quiz show that aired on Monday evening saw host Bradley Walsh , 64, introduce four contestants. They went on to compete against Mark Labbett , 58, who is best known by his nickname the Beast.
The team included theatre director Oscar, 35. He was a contestant on the show alongside teammates Liz, 68, Trish, 57, and Chris, 27. Oscar however was the first of the group to take on the cash builder and head-to-head rounds.
Ahead of his first set of questions, Oscar was asked about his job by host Bradley. The contestant shared: "I've done plays, I've done musicals, I've done pantos. It's a mixed feast!" He added that his favourite place to work has been Shakespeare's Globe in London .
Oscar said about the venue: "It's amazing [and] it's so radical. [And] it makes [learning about William] Shakespeare fun, actually, and I think that's really important." Oscar subsequently took part in the cash builder and secured £4,000 in the round.
He answered questions on subjects including literature, music, sitcoms and opera. Another of them referenced the awards ceremony the Oscars. He accepted the middle offer for the head-to-head, where he faced various categories.
The questions in that round included one about the Shrek film series, as well as another that featured the author Oscar Wilde was the correct answer. Some viewers suggested that the questions suited Oscar .
