Jeffrey Dean Morgan , who stars in season 4 of The Boys , has finally spoken out about the jaw-dropping Kessler-Butcher twist that's got everyone talking. Discussing the creative process behind the reveal, Kripke shared with Variety : "I think every time that someone turns out to be imaginary, the first draft is always like another character walks into the room and says, 'Who are you talking to?'"
