The Agency: Jeffrey Wright Joins Paramount+ CIA Thriller Series By Paramount’s , formerly known as The Department, has gained another big star, as is now attached to star alongside Michael Fassbender. Wright (Westworld, American Fiction) has joined the project according to a new report from THR. He’ll star opposite Fassbender, who just recently was reported to have joined the cast.

According to the report, Wright will play the role of Henry, the director of operations at the London Station and a mentor to Martian (Fassbender). For Wright, it’s yet another high-profile television role for the actor yet to come. Earlier this year, it was also announced that Wright as Isaac Dixon, the leader of a militia group that he also played in the game.



Wright also recently starred in Cord Jefferson’s hit 2023 movie American Fiction, which earned him an Oscar nomination for Best Actor. What do we know about The Agency? The Agency is based on the hit French drama series Le Bureau des Legendes ( ), which was created by Éric Rochant. The Bureau originally aired in France in April 2015 before it came to the United States in June 2016.

The series ran for five seasons and starred Mathieu Kassovitz, Sara Giraudeau, Jean-Pierre Darroussin, and Léa Drucker. “Based on real accounts and inspired by contemporary events, this French spy thriller follows the daily lives and missions of members of the country’s external security service — France’s equivalent of the CIA,” the synopsi.
