As of April 19 and the drop of “ The Tortured Poets Department, ” Taylor Swift has released 11 studio albums. But four of those albums, she’s actually released twice. Swift announced her intention to rerecord her first six albums in 2020, in the aftermath of the sale of her catalog to music executive Scooter Braun.
Swift and Braun's public dispute over her master recordings is the subject of a new Discovery+ docuseries, “ Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun : Bad Blood,” which dropped on Max June 21. Through interviews with legal experts and journalists, the docuseries aims to tell both sides of the feud, documenting the rocky and controversial road to selling Swift’s music and how it led to her record-breaking “Taylor’s Version” albums. Fittingly, the first episode is titled “Taylor’s Version” and the second, “Scooter’s Version.

As part of that deal, the group received control of albums "Taylor Swift," "Fearless," "Speak Now," "Red," "1989" and "Reputation.
