thinks that things could have ended up worse for her judging by her past. During a conversation on that aired last week, the YouTuber shared the story of how she used to be in high school before she dropped out and found internet fame. Tana reflected on how far she has come and said that her life "shouldn't be" as good as it is even after she stopped pursuing an education.
The influencer shared that she would “only go to school on Fridays" during her freshman year so she could “know what’s happening over the weekend." She said that, eventually, even one day a week felt too much, saying "even that [became] exhausting by sophomore year." Then in 10th grade, she made the decision to discontinue her education and dropped out of high school.
"The day I dropped out, I [wore my] zebra flip-flops," Tana said. "I walked right in there and said 'I'm done.'" "I have a problem with being present, I’m always everywhere else mentally," the YouTuber added.
"I try to remember [that with] the cards I was dealt, this shouldn't be my life. I should have dropped out and [become] a stripper or something, so it's cool." During the conversation, she also said she felt like she was "born" to "talk my s--t in front of a camera and have people relate to it," which is what she has been doing.
She rose to fame thanks to her "storytime" videos and similar content she posted to her YouTube channel since 2015, which thousands of people tuned in to watch. Tana has previously opened up about with her.
