Can you believe we're basically in the middle of July already? Madness...

Well anyway, days of the year be damned, it's time to play some games. It's been a relatively quiet one this week, arguably boosted by the strange and ominous 'Emio' trailer posted by Nintendo , indicating that the company may be dipping its toes back into the world of horror gaming..



. Nintendo hasn't taken its foot off NSO for the Switch either, and has introduced three new GBA games in the form of the Starry trilogy , previously only available in Japan. We also looked at how the Switch 2 might stack up next to the absurd success of Nintendo's current console , along with how the company could potentially improve the divisive eShop experience .

. Sixth man As with last weekend, I will mostly be pouring my heart and soul into Hades over the next couple of days. I am still yet to complete a full run (I had to take a break for my own sanity after making it to Hades’ second attack phase before dying) but I’m determined it will come soon.

Pretty neat little game, huh? I have also gone back to A Link Between Worlds since the Echoes of Wisdom trailer got me thinking about the last original top-down adventure. It’s got to be said, Nintendo knows how to make a game! The puzzles are still glorious, even 10 years on, and the art.
