Indus Battle Royale, the highly anticipated title from the hands of SuperGaming recently hosted a grassroots esports tournament called Indus Inferno. The participants included aspiring esports athletes that wished to showcase their talent. The event also had scouts from more than 10 leading esports organisation, looking out for suitable signings.

Interestingly, 2 players were instantly signed and others are in discussion. Learn more below. Indus Inferno finale The winner of the tournament was Team Loggers and they managed to secure INR 2,50,000 as the prize money, along with a trophy.



DGE or Destruction of Game finished at the runner-up position, winning INR 1,00,000 as the prize. In third we had Insane Esports, securing a bag of INR 75,000. Last but not least, Marcos Gaming finished in fourth place and won INR 50,000.

Team MOGGERS’ Igor was dubbed as the MVP of the tournament and received INR 25,000 as the prize money. There were 15 teams in the finale, 10 of those earned their spots through open qualifiers, 4 of them were provided with exclusive invitations and 1 team went through from the Android Qualifiers. Moreover, 70% of the participants consisted of Android users and the rest 30% were iOS users.

Furthermore, the event saw participants arrive from all over the country, with 21% from Maharashtra, 12% from Telangana and 10% from West Bengal. The event also had scouts from the following esports organisations Godlike Esports, Revenant Esports, Orangutan, Entity Gaming, R.
