SB: Cyndi Lauper blows out candles on birthday cake Sunday Brunch was back on screens this morning (June 23) with one very special guest - singing sensation Cyndi Lauper. Hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer were delighted to welcome her onto the show, but fans were baffled as she seemed to "go missing" for a short while. The 71-year-old superstar was joined by Steve Toussaint, Jill Halfpenny, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Steve Stamp and Allan Mustafa on the Channel 4 show .

Turning the attention to the singer, the show's host said: "Now Cyndi it's great to have you on the show. "We're all so excited about it because you're such a huge celebrity. You recently did your handprints, didn't you, at the Chinese theatre.



" He added: "I think we've got a picture here of you and Cher." The image of the two iconic singing sensations popped up on screen as Cyndi said: "I know, she's so sweet. She told me how to sign it.

" The Girls Just Want To Have Fun singer explained a bit about one of her jobs before finding fame, as she said: "At another one of my jobs, I used to engrave cheap jewellery.
