Graziano Di Prima 'angry' with Zara McDermott over carbonara debate Graziano Di Prima had fans getting emotional before his bombshell firing from Strictly Come Dancing was even revealed. The 30-year-old professional dancer shared a cryptic post just hours before it was announced he would not be returning to the 22nd season of the show, despite the fact he was announced in the line-up . Taking to Instagram on Friday, he uploaded a picture of himself planting a kiss on his mother's cheek.

"Mum, you are a force of nature! I will always be there for you," he captioned the snap. The next social media upload Graziano would post would be his statement in response to his BBC axe. TV insiders said Graziano was sacked following an internal investigation into a number of physical incidents involving Zara, who competed with him on the show last year. Graziano denies all allegations made against him. The sacking of Graziano comes weeks after his co-star and fellow professional dancer Giovanni Pernice was axed from his role on similar grounds thanks to accusations made by his former dance partner Amanda Abbington .
