Strictly Come Dancing's investigation into the bullying claims against Giovanni Pernice is reportedly not expected to end until next year. In news which sent shockwaves through the showbiz industry, it was announced that professional dancer Giovanni, 33, would not be part of the Strictly class of 2024 amid an investigation into his 'threatening' behaviour in the training room - which he has vehemently denied. Many of the cast members of the BBC dance competition have not spoken up about the matter, with it also being reported that they have been told not to talk about the controversy ahead of the show's 20th-anniversary series later this year.
And now, it has been claimed that five stars have given formal interviews to two former Met detectives in charge of the probe. It's said Giovanni has not yet been questioned. A source recently claimed the probe wouldn't end for a while.
They claimed: "Those involved have been told the probe could well drag on into next year." "Of course, the last thing the BBC need is the findings to be released in the middle of this series," they added to The Sun. The BBC said in a statement to the Mirror on Friday night: "We recently issued a statement urging people not to indulge in speculation about complaints related to a high profile show.
As we made clear, anyone involved in a complaint has a right to both confidentiality and fair process. While we don’t comment on specifics, what The Sun are asserting contains substantive inaccuracies." A hand.
