star Gaten Matarazzo dished about an "uncomfortable" fan interaction revealing that a "woman in her 40s" confessed to when he was 13 years old. Gaten, well-known for his role as Dustin Henderson on the hit series , recently opened up about some of the most bizarre encounters he has experienced since rising to stardom including one "upsetting" encounter with an older fan. During a guest appearance on the Inside of You podcast, the now 21-year-old star shared one recent alarming confession that a mother revealed while meeting him in front of her daughter.

Gaten explained to host Michael Rosenbaum: "I did one very recently — and this is not very funny, but the reactions around it were quite funny — where this woman in her 40s said straight up, 'I’ve had a crush on you since you were 13.' And I was like, 'That’s upsetting.' I’m sure she just meant, 'Aw, this kid’s cute.

' But then she doubled down." He continued: "She was like, ‘'’m aware of the age difference.' And then I was like, 'Alright' and her daughter was with her, and her daughter goes, 'Mom, what the f---?’'I swear to God," he then went on to add: "I swear to God, this girl must have been like 13.

" Rosenbaum then asked how Gaten responded to the awkward interaction to which he confessed that he was so uncomfortable that he "couldn't" laugh it off and turned to his mother who was sitting next to him to interject. Maten said he thought the whole incident was "insane" but it wasn't the only time fans have .
