Spent , a new six-part comedy drama, begins airing on BBC Two on Monday night. Written by Michelle de Swarte – who also plays the central role, and says she has drawn loosely on her own past modelling career to create the show – Spent follows Mia, a former catwalk model who is now unemployed, homeless and forced to return home to London from the US after declaring bankruptcy.
