Music mogul Simon Cowell has praised a talented Britain's Got Talent act as "one in a million" and said he's the favourite to win the series. Magician Jack Rhodes took to the stage on Tuesday night's second live Semi Final in the hopes of impressing the judges, the audience and viewers at home with his unique act - and blew everyone away. After starting his performance with a simple sleight of hand card trick in front of the judges at their table, Jack soon took the mickey out of himself and joked he needed to elevate his act.
After speaking to himself, on a TV screen, he took to the main stage and became locked in the 'Crate of Death'. There tensions soon rose as Jack-on-the-TV mocked real-life Jack and told him he had just seconds to find a particular card in his hand, before dynamite would go off. Then, as the dynamite exploded, the judges and viewers were on the edge of their seats wondering when Jack would emerge from the crate.
GAVIN & STACEY: Ruth Jones slams Gavin & Stacey finale leak as 'really mean' ITV: Joel Dommett says he's 'so excited' as he lands coveted TV gig Except, he didn't. Incredibly, the TV screen shattered and real-life Jack emerged out of the screen in front of the judges - card in-hand. Gasps could be heard in the audience as the judges rose to their feet in admiration.
Praising Jack, judge Bruno Tonioli said Jack's act was "the best magic act I've seen," whilst Alesha Dixon said Jack gave a "masterclass" in how to perform a magic act. For the latest.
