DISCOVERY Channel's Shark Week is back - and there's a brand new host this year. John Cena is hosting Shark Week 2024 just one day after he announced his retirement from the WWE . The iconic series kicks off tonight on the Discovery Channel at 8 pm ET with four brand new hour-long programs.

Three new episodes will air each night of Shark Week from 8 pm to 11 pm before encores of that night's shows play. The shark-focused shows end at the finale on Saturday, July 13 with Mothersharker: Hammer Time at 9 pm ET. In addition to Shark Week streaming on Discovery Channel and Max, you can catch the programs with subscriptions to Fubo , Hulu , and Sling .
