Popular television show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is gearing up for a significant time leap. The leap will see the departure of actor Shakti Arora, who plays a central character, along with other members of the Bhosale family. Shakti Arora speaks on his EXIT from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: “I don’t have any qualms about the decision” In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Shakti Arora opened up about his exit and the show's creative direction.
He expressed disappointment regarding the unexplored romantic potential between his character, Ishaan, and Savi (played by Bhavika Sharma). "I agree with the audience," said Arora. "We often discussed the lack of romance, and I was genuinely looking forward to a dramatic love story between Ishaan and Savi.
" Arora believes the show's focus on "nok-jhok" (playful banter) may have contributed to a decline in ratings. "While it worked initially," he stated, "it might have become monotonous over time." He suggests that introducing a romantic arc could have boosted viewership.
Despite the planned changes, Arora acknowledges the show's achievements. "We had a decent run," he said, highlighting the show's consistent position within the top five TRP rankings. Regarding the leap decision, Arora expressed initial surprise.
"Honestly, I was surprised," he admitted. "2.0 TRP is a good number at this point.
" However, he understands the rationale behind creative decisions in television. Shakti Arora remains grateful for his time on Ghum Hai.
