Sofia Vergara is paying tribute to her Colombian roots — and having some fun along the way — with a new coffee brand dubbed “ ¡DÍOS MIO! “ Available now on Walmart.com , ¡DÍOS MIO! COFFEE is a fair trade brand that launches with three roasts, all blended by a team of female coffee growers. The name riffs off the popular Spanish expression, that Vergara says is “used by Latinos when discovering the perfect taste and flavor.
” All of the coffee is sourced and produced in Columbia, in conjunction with the Federación Nacional de Cafeteros (The National Federation of Coffee Growers, or “FNC”). The partnership helps to ensure production and quality standards, while supporting local coffee farmers and suppliers. Vergara, a self-proclaimed “coffee connoisseur,” says she wanted to launch her coffee brand as a way to honor her Colombian heritage while paying tribute to Latina culture and entrepreneurship.
