A couple were left furious when a recent flight set them back €140 (£119.31) after receiving a luggage fine despite purchasing 'Ryanair approved' bags. David C and his wife were travelling from Palma Majorca Airport, in Spain back to Manchester, UK, when they were slapped with a hefty luggage fine - despite having forked out for special compliant bags.
The couple, who had enjoyed a stress-free holiday in Majorca, were met with unhelpful and disgruntled staff at the Ryanair gate at Palma Airport, they claimed.
