will reportedly not be back on this week. The 64-year-old presenter has decided to continue her break from the daytime show following the news that she's divorcing her husband Eamonn Holmes. Revealing their shock split after 14 years of marriage in an statement, their spokesperson said: "Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.

" A telly insider has now told The Sun: "Ruth will not be back on screen this week. She has decided to extend her break from ITV so will not yet be making a return to the panel." Despite Ruth not appearing on Loose Women since the announcement about the end of her marriage, she returned to social media, sharing a new mirror selfie with her fans on Instagram.

The presenter posed as she plugged her QVC clothing line. Looking glam in her dark sunglasses, she flaunted her trim figure in a flattering khaki jacket, a knitted vest and a pair of pale blue jeans. However, Ruth, who had her hair in its usual sleek bob, didn’t reveal whether she was wearing her rings.

Striking a pose for the cute shot, she had her hand in her pocket so her hand was not visible. Ruth and Eamonn first got together in the late 90s and have an adult son named Jack. They got married in 2010 and looked to be as happy off screen as they were on screen when they hosted ITV’s together.

That came to an end in 2021, when Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary took over their spot on the sofa. And Eamonn went on to GB News.
