Rosie Jones recalls abuse she's received from trolls Rosie Jones has shut down trolls, taking to social media with an “incredibly thought out” response for her 149,000 followers. The comedian was met with an onslaught of nasty comments after she was recently named in the upcoming lineup of Channel 4 ’s bizarre game show Taskmaster . She will star alongside other famous faces including jokesters Andy Zaltzman, Babatunde Aléshé, Emma Sidi and Jack Dee .

Although the announcement featured the full list of contestants Rosie, who lives with cerebral palsy, faced the majority of the abuse. This included ableist comments and remarks which took aim at her career and claimed she was “not funny”. Rosie posted a silent selfie clip captioned: “Hams be ready to be angry for ten weeks straight.” She added: “Here’s my incredibly thought-out response to all the hams who are angry that I am on the next series of Taskmaster.” In the video, the Out of Order star threw up a casual middle finger to the camera.
